Anxiety. No other ailment (a bodily disorder or chronic disease a stomach ailment. 2 : unrest, uneasiness an emotional ailment.) is misdiagnosed more frequently than Anxiety. And I was no different than hundreds of millions of human beings around the world when it came to m

y own diagnosis of Anxiety. For over twenty years I chased physical ailments/issues and eventually it became apparent that it was an emotional issue, not a physical one. It wasn't easy arriving at this conclusion, as my doctors and ER Doctors were more than willing to chase my physicals ailments which masked my emotional ailments. Had I not been willing to read self help books and biographies and articles over and over and over again, I would have never become comfortable with myself and felt the sense of silence that I do now. Restlessness and uneasiness controlled my life and I was relentless in my unwillingness to accept the fact that I was going to BE THIS WAY the rest of my life. The very discomfort of anxiety, caused me to become comfortable. The way I think about it now, looking back at it the last 42 years, it was like a piece of gravel in my shoe and I kept taking the shoe off to remove it but I couldn't find it. And then one day, I found it.
